School Banner Competition for World Youth Championships

A competition for schools to design a banner for display at this year's World Youth Championship at EICA.
Local schools are being asked to prepare a banner for this year's biggest international youth climbing competition being hosted by EICA from the 9th - 12th of September.

More than 350 climbers from around the world are expected to attend the prestigious event, along with over 1000 spectators per day on the weekend and the top three most interesting looking submissions as decided by the international climbing judge will be displayed in our reception area during the competition and the other entries will be displayed in the EICA hospitality area for visitors to the centre to see.

 

Theme: Connecting climbers from around the world.
Banner Size: Min. 2 m x 1 m
First Prize: A visit to the EICA on Thursday 9th or Friday 10th September 2010 for an accompanied group of children (max number 30) to
experience the competition & watch the climbers at the event.
Submission: No later than Wednesday 01 September 2010
The winner will be announced on Friday 03 September 2010.

For all the kids who do not win the competition – you can still come along!
The tickets to see the finals on the weekend are free for children under 8 years, so come watch the competition and enjoy a great family day out!
